For fans of Nails, SPY, Every Time I Die.
They're back at it again! The Flesh Creep camp have just re-enforced their really strong end to 2023 with their latest single False Flag. A signature high octane tune that pulls from all the best bits of their influences. This is the first single to be released since their previous track Heads Will Roll was released back in September. It sees them take a slightly different approach this time around. The previous single was more of a steam roller set in motion and charging straight ahead whereas this latest release sees the band flex their sonic muscles that bit further. This track features an opening verse and chorus exchange that feeds off of the Every Time I Die playbook before kicking in to a ride cymbal driven Slayer-esque bridge. These are two sounds that you wouldn't automatically put together, but is still a combination that sure as hell works. False Flag and Heads Will Roll are both taken from their upcoming EP expected in the new year. Keep your eyes peeled. Flesh Creep are brash and straight to the point. Just what we need. Rating 4.5/5
