Bristol based punks Heavy Lungs have just released one of their best songs yet! A real groovy track that feels like the result of 6 years of graft coming together in to one big melting pot. This release compliments their other latest singles in the form of Dancing Man and All Gas No Breaks. All three tracks feel fresh. You don't get the impression that they are resting on there laurels, but are instead trying to expand their sound in to new territories. Head Tilter flicks between psychedelic guitar solos, groovy verse sections which are straight forward enough but have a real impact. Not to mention the early 00's feeling to the fuzzy riffy chorus with Danny Nedelko's gruff voice really complimenting everything that's happening. It's hard to pin point exactly what I mean, but there's just a really good feeling about this song. It feels like all the members enjoyed making this one and that it came naturally to them. Nothing feels forced and it oozes Heavy Lungs from top to bottom. Heavy Lungs' new album 'All Gas No Brakes' is set for for release on September 29th! Rating: 4.5/5
